The sandbar at Shell Key Preserve

05About 30 minutes from St. Petersburg

Shell Key

The anchorage half of these charters are really booked for.

02The water

Shell Key Preserve is a barrier island south of Pass-a-Grille with no bridge and no road. The only way onto the sandbar is by boat.

The water runs waist deep and pale green over white sand for a long way out, which is why it is the default anchorage on almost every St. Petersburg charter we run.
